Carolyn Garland, Sherrill Graff and Stampin Up Products
Sherrill has been
in Canada with George and I
for 5 days now and
has been sharing some fun stamping ideas.
All the girls are so happy when Sherrill comes here
They learn so many many new things.
One of the first
ideas she shared this time around was
How to make hand
painted papers using stampin up ink refills and
whisper white
cardstock.
She calls the
technique Hand Painted Papers
The paper can be
torn while it is still wet to give you a ruff edge
When the paper is
wet you can tear it and roll it into flowers.
You can stamp
images onto the wet paper so the ink absorbs into it like she did with these
leaves.
We used sponge
daubers to apply the
inks so that the colors would be closer
together since we
were working with such small papers.
Friday night
Carolyn and her stamping gals had a shoe box swap
Sherrill's Swap
card

card
The girls covered a
large paper clip Carolyn gave them.
Then Sherrill
taught how to make multi colored ink pads
using stampin up
supplies.
This
is a multi colored pad made out of an old so saffron ink pad.
so
saffron, pumpkin pie and soft suede ink was used.
(Sherrill is teaching this class again in Virginia at the end of the month for
Barbara's friends)
It sure has been wonderful staying at your home again. Thanks for all you do for me. I was thrilled to spend the weekend at your scrapbooking event with the girls. You have sunch wonderful friends. Thanks for all you and George did for me. You always treat me so well. Great job on your blog post too. Hugs, Sherrill Graff Late Night Stamper
